Although the Ukrainian authorities claim to resume economic growth, the situation in the country continues to deteriorate.

This was stated at a press conference in Kiev by academician and Vice-President of the Academy of economic Sciences of Ukraine, academician of the Academy of higher education of Ukraine, academician of the Academy of social management of Ukraine, doctor of economic Sciences Anatolіі Peshko.

“Despite the fact that this government promised mountains of gold after the Maidan, it did not bring relief to the economy. Maidan was not in the interests of the Ukrainian people. Now the government says that we have a growth of 2-2. 5% of GDP. But in fact, the situation continues to deteriorate. What they call height looks like the floundering of a man drowning in a quagmire, the more he flounders, the more he sinks. In fact, Ukraine has long been bankrupt. We are not able to pay even interest on foreign loans, ” he said.
