Dear compatriots!

Ukraine is turning over another page of its tragic history! This tragedy is connected with the fact that about 10 million hectares of arable land have already been stolen from the Ukrainian people and their state!

My appeal to the President of Ukraine of 23.02.2021 did not give any positive results. On the contrary, after visiting the Presidential Administration on this issue, when leaving the Presidential Administration, I was approached by a round-faced, thick-built man of about fifty, shaved bald. This man addressed me by name and patronymic and in a” cheerful tone “said to me a small phrase:” Anatoly Vladimirovich, you know, the forest loves silence. If the wind sometimes ruffles its branches, it causes discontent among the inhabitants of the forest.” It was a phrase of blatantly veiled threat. The witness of this phrase was my assistant accompanying me. Recently, my mobile phone has started receiving calls from frequently mistaken men and receiving all kinds of abusive and threatening TEXT messages with subtext to make me shut my mouth.

I regard this as an attempt to put pressure on me as a public figure in order to force me to stop fighting for the return of the stolen land to state ownership, to the ownership of the people of Ukraine! Because the value of the stolen land at European prices is approximately 700 billion US dollars!

With the current annual budget of Ukraine of 38 billion US dollars, this amount is 18.5 of the annual budget of Ukraine!

This is the loss of Ukraine’s sovereignty, its territorial and food security!

This is the theft of the very land that is watered with the blood of our grandfathers and great-grandfathers!

Dear compatriots! If you do not stop the law on the sale of land, then our land will be irretrievably lost! If the President of Ukraine wants to save Ukraine, he must stop the law on the sale of land until all the stolen land is returned to the property of the state and the people of Ukraine!

We have no other way!

With concern for the people of Ukraine and honoring the memory of our grandfathers and great-grandfathers.

A.V. Peshko
