Bartholomew was called upon to start an inter-Orthodox dialogue, and not to go to Ukraine with the “Barbarossa plan”

People’s Deputies of Ukraine, public figures, cultural figures, journalists, artists, educators and psychologist appealed to Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, who will arrive in Ukraine this year. They wrote a letter in which they urge the patriarch to start an inter-Orthodox dialogue on the Ukrainian issue with the participation of all 14 Orthodox churches and only after that come to our country.

The letter was posted on the website of People’s Deputy Andrei Derkach. The authors of the letter stated that when the patriarch arrives in Ukraine, he will be expected to provide a roadmap for real and comprehensive reconciliation of Orthodox Christians in Ukraine.

“We call upon your arrival in Ukraine to begin the inter-Orthodox dialogue on the Ukrainian issue with the participation of all 14 Orthodox churches, which you have terminated, and only after that arrive with a real package and a roadmap for real and comprehensive reconciliation of Orthodox Christians in Ukraine, and not with the aggressive and insidious” Barbarossa plan ” Why, as you understand, the participation of all parties of the Orthodox community of Ukraine is necessary, without replacing all the actors with fake figures or all sorts of swindlers … I don’t want to think that the purpose of such actions is also the solution of geopolitical tasks to form a zone of irritation from our country and a “red rag” for Russia, “the letter says.

The authors added that the receipt of the Tomos led to the fact that it became part of the political life of Ukraine and an instrument in the hands of politicians.”Instead of the declared acquisition of their church by Ukrainians, the receipt of the Tomos led to the fact that it became a part of the political life of Ukraine and an instrument in the shameful acts of politicians. Having secured the favor of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, the potential military and state criminal Poroshenko, together with businessmen, hiding behind autocephaly, are causing a split and confusion. into an Orthodox family, “added the authors of the letter.
